Westlake MUD 1 would like to inform residents that the Valve Flow Testing project currently being performed by Inframark has been extended for Westlake Village. The extended time frame is due to the number of valves in Westlake that are not isolating flow. Unanticipated issues are necessitating further evaluation of valve flow isolation accuracy.

The expected completion date is Tuesday, January 26th. Expect intermittent low pressure during this time. Residents with questions should please contact Inframark’s Customer Service center directly at: (281) 579-4500, Option 3.


Update Jan 16 @ 9:00am

Westlake MUD 1 Residents: Follow up flow testing continues Monday, 1/18/21 – Wednesday, 1/20/21, for Westlake Village, from 8am - 4pm.

Residents should expect brief drops in pressure or interruptions of service lasting no longer than 15 minutes during that time.

The affected dates/areas are listed below:

  • Monday, January 18, 2021 through Wednesday January 20, 2021
    • All areas south of Lake Hollow, starting on Blindlake and proceeding west to Fry Rd. (Westlake Village)

Westlake MUD 1 Residents: Follow up flow testing continues Friday, 1/15/21 for Westlake Village, from 8am - 4 pm. Inframark will not be performing testing during the weekend.

Flow testing will resume Monday, January 18, 2021 and continue through Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Residents should expect brief drops in pressure or interruptions of service lasting no longer than 15 minutes between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

  • Friday, January 8, 2021; then Monday, January 11, 2021 through Thursday, January 14, 2021
    • All areas south of Saums and north of Younglake/Long Lake, starting on Blindlake and proceeding west to Fry Rd.
  • Friday, January 15, 2021; then Monday, January 18, 2021 through Wednesday January 20, 2021
    • All areas south of Lake Hollow, starting on Blindlake and proceeding west to Fry Rd.

Westlake MUD 1 Residents: The hydrant replacement that occurred today has been completed. Water pressure to the affected areas has been restored. If you are continuing to experience low or no water pressure, please contact Inframark’s Customer Service center directly at: (281) 579-4500, Option 3.

The Board of Directors for Westlake MUD 1 and the District Operator, Inframark would like to inform residents of the next phase of maintenance to be performed within District boundaries. Beginning Monday, January 4, 2021, two projects will be taking place simultaneously. Below are the details regarding the upcoming maintenance and what District residents can expect in terms of service interruption.

Fire Hydrant Replacement: This will take place on Monday, January 4, 2021. Residents should expect a temporary interruption of service between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. The affected area is shown in purple below:

Follow Up Flow Testing: This will take place beginning Monday, January 4, 2021 and proceed through Wednesday, January 20, 2021. During this time, residents should expect brief drops in pressure or interruptions of service lasting no longer than 15 minutes between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

Businesses will be notified in person by Inframark personnel at least 24 hours prior to any testing that will impact their service. Inframark will not be performing testing during the weekends.

  • Monday, January 4, 2021 through Thursday, January 7, 2021
    • All areas north of Saums, starting on Shady Brook and proceeding west to Fry Rd.
  • Friday, January 8, 2021; then Monday, January 11, 2021 through Thursday, January 14, 2021
    • All areas south of Saums and north of Younglake/Long Lake, starting on Blindlake and proceeding west to Fry Rd.
  • Friday, January 15, 2021; then Monday, January 18, 2021 through Wednesday January 20, 2021
    • All areas south of Lake Hollow, starting on Blindlake and proceeding west to Fry Rd.
