Update Nov 29, 7:00 PM

The mainline break has been repaired and water pressure has been restored to the District. While the repair was taking place, it was discovered that one of the older valves had broken and will need to be replaced. The valve replacement is scheduled to begin this evening beginning at 8:00 p.m. (Nov 29th) and is expected to be complete by midnight. During this time, the water will be turned off in Westlake Village, in order for the valve replacement to take place on Copper Vine.

One of the main priorities of Westlake MUD 1 is to work with Inframark to find and address all concerns within the infrastructure. The Board of Directors understands that residents of the District need a reliable source of water and are working hard to ensure this.

Residents will be alerted once water pressure has been restored, or if the project will need to be extended. Be sure that you are alerted to news and developments that may affect your area. Sign up for emergency alerts here: https://www.westlakemud1.com/alerts.
