Update December 10th, 2019 4:14 P.M.

Due to the rain today, the contracting crew was unable to complete the work at the manhole near Saums Rd.

While the manhole is now repaired the contractor still needs to reinstall the accompanying storm sewer, lay the pavement subgrade, and then pour the street surface pavement. Once the pavement is poured it then has to cure before the street can be fully reopened.

Due to the delays, it will likely be next week before the street can return to normal use.

Update 12/6/2019 10:30 A.M.

The construction crew anticipates having the manhole repaired by end of day today, Friday, December 6th. However, Westlake residents still need to exercise caution in the area as traffic will be impacted until they can re-pour around the manhole, which is expected to occur on Monday, December 9th. Westlake MUD thanks you all for your continued patience as this repair is completed.
