The Westlake Municipal Utility District No. 1 Board of Directors encourages all District residents to join them at the Westlake Community Improvement Association’s National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The event, which is hosted by the Westlake Community Improvement Association, will be held in front of the Westlake Forest Civic Center located at 19750 Franz Road, Houston.

This community event will allow residents to meet the District’s Board of Directors and the first responders that serve our community. It will also feature fun, family-friendly activities. Representatives from the Westlake Volunteer Fire Department will be present with equipment for children to tour and enjoy. The Harris County Sheriff’s Department mounted and K-9 officers will also be present with their animal partners. Free crime prevention and safety information will be available.

Food and drink will be provided for free to residents. The menu includes grilled sausages, hot dogs, chips, cookies and water.

A live DJ will provide music at the event for residents to enjoy while children get their faces painted or get balloon animals or other items from a balloon-tying clown.

Door prizes worth $25 or more each will be given out via drawing every 15 minutes throughout the evening. Gift bags will also be provided for children of all ages.
