| Joe Calderon – Director and President Joe has
been in the water industry for over 28 years, with experience
in all phases of operation of water production, water
treatment, and overall management of utility districts in the
Houston area. Joe has served as a Board member since 1996 and
has been a resident of Westlake Forest since 1979.
David Poteet – Director and Vice President
David is a graduate of UT Austin with a degree in
Chemistry. He utilized his education as a research Chemist. As
Regional Vice-President and Licensed Principal with the NASD
for Primerica Financial Services, and has worked as a
bookkeeper for R&P Emergency Equipment Repair. He has been on
the Board of Directors of The Katy Prairie Conservancy for 2
years, as a member of the Land Acquisition and Stewardship
Committees. He has served as a Board member of Westlake
Municipal Utility District No. 1 since 1996 and has been a
resident of Westlake for 25 years.
Sally Seraj Director and Secretary
Sally is a practicing Real Estate Attorney with a Master’s
Degree in Public Administration. Sally has served as a Board
member of Westlake Municipal Utility District No. 1 since 1996
and has been a resident of Westlake Forest since 1993.
David Bryan – Director and Assistant Secretary
David has a Degree in Earth Science and Geography and has
been a Manager of Geographical Information Systems Database
Development for many public and private entities, including
the City of Houston, Department of Public Works, Water and
Wastewater systems, HL&P, and Oil and Gas companies. David has
served as a Board member since 1998 and has been a resident of
Westlake Forest since 1985.
Jerry Power Director
Jerry has a BS degree from Texas A&M in Chemical
Engineering. Jerry has worked as a Texas Registered Chemical
Engineer with concentrations in Engineering, Manufacturing
(Polymers and Synthetic Fibers), and Quality Assurance and
Process Safety. Jerry has served as a Board member since 2001
and has been a resident of Westlake since 1994.
